Hey friends! SO here’s the deal, Gowanus Alliance will be collecting donations starting TOMORROW FRIDAY 9am-4pm for canned food, clothing and bathroom necessities. Clothing for Men, Women, and Children include: clean coats, sweaters/hoodies, tshirts, pants, socks, etc. just as long as it is CLEAN.
Bathroom Supplies: NEW toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, baby wipes, diapers.
Canned Food: SEALED food items, snacks will do as well. Red Hook Initiative is coordinating and dispatching volunteers to where they are most needed in the neighborhood. You can contact RHI at 718-858-6782, or show up to volunteer at their office, located at 767 Hicks Street. There is a particular need for volunteers with medical training.
