FROGG (Friends and Residents of the Greater Gowanus) has nominated Gowanus to be placed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places to the State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) You are invited to attend a community meeting to discuss this proposal on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 6.30 PM at The Old American Can Factory located at 232 Third Street and Third Avenue in Gowanus.
