WHAT IT IS
National Manufacturing Day is day to celebrate and promote the manufacturing businesses of America. The Manufacturing sector provides well paying jobs, fuels innovation, and supports the design talent of NYC.
On National Manufacturing Day, October 4th 2013, Made In NYC will be promoting as many NYC manufacturers as possible through a social media campaign. We are encouraging you to upload photos of factories and employees, creating a visual catalog of the many New Yorkers who work in manufacturing.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Take a photo of employees engaged in production, share on twitter, facebook, and instagram tagging #MadeInNYC #HowItsMade #MfgStory with a quote about why manufacturing is important to NYC.
