This past Sunday we had another exciting and productive Clean and Green event at Ennis Playground. Volunteers from Gowanus Alliance, Gowanus Canal Conservancy, Whole Foods, and residents of the neighborhood joined forces and cleaned up our beloved park. Raizes do Brasil Capoeira brought volunteers as well and after lunch (donated by Number One Deli and Whole Foods) they performed series of Capoeira dances! We also had a raffle game with Gowanus Gang coins and one family won a gift certificate to Table 87, yum! We are so thankful for everyone who came out to help on a hot Sunday afternoon and we look forward to future events with more people for better Ennis Playground.
